DR. ERIKSEN VOTED CHIROPRACTOR OF THE YEAR

Dr. Kirk Eriksen has recently been honored by the Alabama Chiropractic Council as their Chiropractor of the Year for 1997. Dr. Eriksen, best known for his expertise in research specific to the upper cervical spine, has practiced in Dothan, Alabama since graduating from Life in 1991. Since his student participation in SCO, which included compiling an extensive portfolio of upper cervical research, he has promoted the advancement of the Grostic Procedure with numerous published research papers in a variety of journals including the Chiropractic Research Journal and the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research.

As a board member of SCO he has lectured extensively in our continuing education programs. He is the chairman of the Alabama Council's department of technique and research and has represented Orthospinology in the recent Council on Chiropractic Practice technique symposium in Chandler, Arizona. Congratulations to Dr. Eriksen for the recognition of his service to the chiropractic profession.
