Short Leg Explanation

A healthy aligned body is illustrated on the left, a misaligned body on the right.
  1. When the body is not in true vertical and horizontal planes (right), the body will attempt to compensate for the stress caused by the imbalance.
  2. This causes the spine and pelvis to twist.
  3. Throwing the rest of the body out of alignment.
  4. Even an apparently healthy body can suffer from atlas subluxation. Short leg is just one result.
